Note that some of the example programs in the 1996 edition will
no longer compile with current compilers because of changes in the
language standard. Even if you continue to use the 1996 edition of
the book, you probably want to get the source code of the 2001
edition's example programs.
No attempt has been made in the Errata to list "errors" that have arisen because of changes to the language standard. This material relating to the 1996 edition will not be further updated and will eventually be removed. |
