    Gördüm ki bir yere varmıyor hiçbiri.

    İki ordu saldırdı birbirine,
    Yalnızca bir çığlık kaldı gövdemde.

    Bir maşrapa su aldım, bir avuç toprak
    denizin ve toprağın gölgesinden;

    O zaman, esmiş bir rüzgar oldum
    o zaman, akmış bir sele döndüm
    o zaman, yağmış bir yağmur oldum.

    düşlerim hiç korkutmasın seni;
    Kimseyi öldürmüyor ölüm!
