CVPR 2003: Accommodations

The room block at the Hilton is open through May 22nd, but it is either full or close to full on the night of June 18th. (It fluctuates as people move their reservations around.) The room block at the Concourse is open through May 27th. The dorms rooms are also available until the 27th (even though the dorm room website does not say so).

The main conference hotel is the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, 9 East Wilson St., 608-255-5100. This is attached to the Monona Terrace Convention Center. Room rates for the conference are $135/night  for both single/double occupancy. The room block will be held until May 16th, so reserve early. To get the IEEE CVPR conference rate, just mention the conference name when you call, or use the group code EEE when booking on-line.

A smaller number of rooms is being held at the Madison Concourse Hotel  1 W. Dayton St. 1-800-356-8293. The Concourse is a 0.4 mile walk across the capitol square to the Monona Terrace Convention Center. Rates are $119/night single occupancy; $129/night double occupancy. Guest rooms are reserved during the evenings of the main conference, 6/18 - 6/20. The reservation cut-off is May 7.

For those preferring less expensive accommodations, a block of dormitory rooms is being held at Chadbourne Hall, on the corner of N. Park Street and University Avenue. Reservations should be made on-line  (click on the "On-Line Reservations" on the left panel). The dorm is 1.1 miles from the Monona Terrace. It is located on a main bus line, with stops in front of the dorm and next to the Terrace. Room prices are $54.50/night single occupancy; and $37.75/night double occupancy. On-line reservations may be made through May 15th! Note: ethernet connections are available in the Chadbourne Hall dorm rooms.
