2.4 Models of Concepts

Another term frequently applied to abstractions and concepts is model: an abstraction that belongs to a concept is also said to be a model of the concept. We also sometimes say that the abstraction or model conforms to the concept. When discussing a concept, it is convenient to say "models include ...", with the understanding that this means models of the concept under discussion.
