The philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it. -- Karl Marx
I am a second year PhD student in the Computer Science Department of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prof. Mohammed J. Zaki is my advisor. I have broad research interests in Data Mining and Machine Learning.
Before that, I got my bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in Chengdu, China. In that short but cherished period of time, I exposed myself to programming and all kinds of cool techniques. The great research experiences with Prof. Tao Zhou and Prof. Jie Shen encouraged me to continue my research dream here at RPI.
In my spare time, I like programming. Programming is an art, much like writing (I like writing, too). Besides, I like reading, music, movie and photography. All of them make me discover and enjoy the beauty. I also like to play some sports. Soccer, badminton, tennis and pingpong are all fine to me.
